im p e r f e c t i o n | p52

So as some of you may know I am doing a project 365 (or this year 366), which is where you take a photo each day for a year.  The idea is to have a collection of photos that capture each day.  I tried this once before and failed about 3 days in.  This year is going much much better.  Anyways, I am paralleling this with a project 52 (taking a photo a week for a year) and have joined the amazing Sara at My Four Hens Photography.  The project 52 has a theme for each week. (blog note: if I receive feedback and interest in seeing each week, I will post each week here on my blog)

So that brings me to this weeks theme.  I really wasn't sure what I was going to do with this weeks theme as there was SO many ways I could take it given how imperfect things are or at least how I can perceive them to be.

Imperfection = me as a father. It is something I strive to be in every aspect for my son. Someone for him to look up to. Someone who is a role model. Someone who is an example of how a man should behave in all areas of life. I want my son to see a true man of integrity, honesty, courage, strength, wisdom, morals, respect, love, compassion, patience and I could go on. BUT no matter how hard I try, no matter how bad I want to be all of that every minute of each and every day for him...I will not be...I am simply i m p e r f e c t.....but I WILL STRIVE.

That is me in my son's eye...All of these attributes I listed above is exactly what I want his eyes to see when looking at me.

Thank you for stopping by and as always, any feedback is greatly appreciated.
