a poetic challenge i am participating in has a theme of p a s s i o n (this week).  one of my passions is music.  i like pretty much all kinds of music.  i listen to different kinds of music depending on my mood, emotions, situation, etc...

a differnt side of me | self portrait

linking up to Sweet Violet Photography for this weeks theme (i picture was featured a couple of weeks ago, you can see it here), which is 'a different side of me'.  this may not seem like a different side of me because its pretty much a straight on shot, but if ya know me, i'm not one to take pictures of myself or like to have pictures of me in them...for whatever reason.  BUT by me doing a project 365 in which one of my family members has to be in the picture somewhat, i am forced to change this, which is a good thing.  anyways here is its... laugh, point, cry, whatever....hahaha

edit me | challenge

through a blog i read/follow to another i came across and edit me challenge (the challenge).  the idea is to edit it in your style or to a style that fits the picture...or so this is what i take it as.  this is my first time doing one of these, so let me know what you think.

so this week i am linking up with Sweet Violet Photography's theme of 'something different'.  i took this challenge as to shoot something different...something i normally wouldn't shoot or something that i haven't done much of or if at all.  that being said i chose food.  i really never shoot any food pictures.  so here is my 'something different' photo - cinnamon streusel muffins.
