met up with an old high school friend and her family, which i haven't seen since high school (except the time in the ER with j- NOT fun). this was my first session with a family larger than four and with older kids...i think it went well and had a great time. thanks ernie and stacy for allowing me to capture your family. have a great weekend everyone!
the storm was coming but the cake needed to be eaten. we were close to canceling as the clouds were rolling in but this beautiful one year old was not to be deprived of her birthday cake. we literally just made it as we were in the parking lot getting ready to leave and the rain started coming. thank you to the M family for letting me capture their family and their serious but sweet one year old (who just so happens to share the same birthday as me!).

i got a chance to shoot some friends of ours that kind of go way back with my wifes family. gg is going to be turning one and couldn't be sweeter, i mean look at those chubby cheeks (they say pinch me all over em')! hope you guys like your sneak peak!
first off, i want to say thank you to all that have encouraged me and continue to do so in this journey of mine; i appreciate all of your support. so moving on...as most of you know i have been doing my photography sessions strictly on donation and have been having a great time. since i'm having such a great time, i would like to turn this hobby and passion of mine into a business as well. as with any business, i need money to grow. i want to continue to share my talent and love for photography with all of you, but to do so i'm going to have to start charging. as they say, time is money...and precious time away from my wife and son for shoots, editing, etc...is worth something to me as i'm sure it is to all of you.
that being said, my pricing will go into effect as of now. for those that already have a photo session scheduled, this does NOT apply to you. my pricing is as follows:
Family Portraits - Session Fee $50 (up to 4 people - each additional family member will be $15)
Your photo session includes:
~ a 1 hr on location session
~ post processing, including basic retouching of 20-30 images
~ an online gallery to view and purchase prints and/or CD
Senior Portraits - Session Fee $150
Your photo session includes:
~ up to 2 hrs session with up to 2 locations
~ 3 to 4 outfit changes
~ post processing, including basic retouching of 25-35 images
~ an online gallery to view and purchase your prints and/or CD

i met up with a friend from middle school...yeah i said it, middle school, crazy huh?! i haven't seen melissa since middle school, but it was great to see her and her family and to take pictures of her sweet 6 week old. here is an image from today.
